Knotty Green

At the heart of the rural hamlet of Knotty Green is the historic Red Lion pub. Adjacent to the pub is the local cricket club, a fine children's adventure playground and a pond believed to be an old sheep dip dating back over 400 years. Knotty Green is in the Civil Parish of Penn and within a short walking distance of Beaconsfield – a fine Market town featuring many old coaching inns some dating back to the 15th Century. Knotty Green itself features many fine country homes and is in the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Dating back to 1753 the pub has a rich and varied history and today remains a focal point for locals and visitors alike, and is supported by a group of enthusiastic locals who are working with the owners, Punch Taverns, to build a sustainable future for the pub.
